Herbal Remedies 101 Have you ever been camping, hiking, hunting, or just in your yard and thought “I wonder what this plant or tree is?” Herbal Remedies 101 is a 2 day class full of learning the basics. Becca will introduce you to a handful of common herbs easily found in your area, help you learn proper identification throughout the year, parts of the plant used,help you understand the uses, commonly mistaken look a likes, and how to use these herbs as a first aid alternative. At the end of Day 1, the class will go on a Nature Walk to identify the plants and herbs in your area. On Day 2 she will teach you how to make a “simpler’s tincture”, salve, tea, and syrup. This class is a prerequisite to Herbal First Aid and Remedies 201.
