Tony McCallum
Founder of Mid-America Safety Services
Tony was in emergency medicine for his entire adult life. He was a NREMT Paramedic for over 20 years, and he held countless instructor certifications in emergency medicine. He was a well known and sought after lecturer for conferences all over the US. He started Mid-America as a way to bridge a gap in emergency medicine and education. He sought instructors that had the same drive and compassion for not only fire and ems departments, but also law enforcement and military as well. Tony passed away in July 2022, leaving a hole in the emergency responders community. Becca and the instructors with Mid-America continue to grow and adapt the goals and vision of the future for the business as they continue to service general public, fire departments, emergency medical personnel, law enforcement, military, and everyone in-between.
Becca McCallum
C.E.O. and Lead Instructor of Mid-America Safety Services
Becca's is a CPR Instructor, First Aid, Wilderness First Aid Instructor, Personal Protection Specialist, Defensive Tactics Instructor and the Lead Instructor and Author of our Ladies F.I.R.S.T Self-Defense class. She is a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Instructor and the lead Krav Maga Instructor. She is a certified instructor for Israeli Tactical Knife Fighting, Israeli Combat Pistol, Israeli Tactical Rife, and Tactical Shotgun. She is a Master Herbalist and a Wilderness First Aid Instructor. She is the creator of our Herbal Remedies 101 and Herbal Remedies 201 class as well as Surviving the Night Class. She is the mother to four amazing daughters.
Becca continues to grow Mid-America and find great instructors who have a drive to serve those who seek to further their education in emergency medicine, tactical techniques and self defense tactics.
Gabriel Anglin

Gabe has been in the fire service for twenty years. Like many he began as a volunteer and quickly found his calling to serve. Gabe is an NREMT Paramedic for 12 years and has gained his experience working for fire departments. He is currently an active FF/Paramedic, serves as a Swat Medic for his local county SWAT team, and as an instructor for Homeland Security teaching Active Shooter Response. Gabe's certifications include instructor for CPR, First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, BLS, AMLS ACLS, and a NAEMT Instructor, Defensive Tactics for Law Enforcement Instructor.

Brad has over 20 years of practical, real world experience in the Police, Fire, EMS, and Military Sectors.
Brad currently is employed with the US Dept of Homeland Security as a Federal Police Officer and Paramedic, where he conducts law enforcement operations and security vulnerability assessments for Federal Facilities, while providing medical first response. His prior law enforcement background consists of 15 years of service with the Horn Lake Police Dept where he was a Patrol Supervisor, Tactical Paramedic, and Criminal Investigator. Brad also served as a Patrol Officer with the Whiteville Police Dept for 2 years.
Brad’s EMS and Fire background consists of 20 years of service as a National Registry Paramedic with 911 and private services, most notably with Hardeman County EMS, Southaven Fire Dept, and Desoto County EMS. He currently volunteers his services with the Millersville Fire Dept. Brad also served as an EMS educator with Southwest TN Community College and the Southaven Fire Dept.
Brad currently serves as a Naval Security Forces Chief Petty Officer and Criminal Investigator in the US Navy Reserves.

Mindy has 4 years experience in the Public Safety and Biomedical Sector, having served with Hernando Police and Fire and Rural Metro Fire and Ambulance Service as a 911 Dispatcher. She was employed with the American Red Cross, and Ascension Healthcare as a biomedical technician and medical assistant. She has over 6 years experience in Marketing and Sales.

Kevin is a Firefighter/Medic and has been in the service for 18 years now, he has been a paramedic for 10 years. Kevin holds multiple certifications in advanced rescue operations, also is a instructor for Department of Homeland Security in Terrorist Bombings. Kevin is also attached to his local Sheriff Department SWAT Team as the lead medic and has been involved in tactical medicine for the past 9 years. Kevin’s certifications include instructor for CPR/First Aid, AMLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TECC, TCCC and Defensive Tactics for Law Enforcement, he is also a Level 2 Krav Maga practitioner.
Kevin is Married to his wonderful wife and has a son and a pistol of a daughter.
MARTY CALE
Owner & Chief Instructor of the Krav Maga Association | Founder of the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame
Professor Marty Cale started training in Krav Maga in 1999. In 2001 Professor Marty Cale and his school, Arkansas Martial Arts, was certified by Krav Maga Instructor Rhon Mizrachi to teach Krav Maga.
Marty Cale has since, traveled to Israel numerous times and trained in the Israeli Combat System of Krav Maga with Former Chief Commander Ran Nakash, former Head Instructor Itay Danenberg and the current Chief Commander of the Israeli Defense Forces for Krav Maga, Danny Netzer. Mr. Cale is one of only very few people fortunate enough to train at the IDF Military Training Base. Being a High Level Advanced Instructor in Krav Maga, Mr. Cale has also trained with the Head Instructor Itay Danenberg and Chief Commander Danny Netzer at the National Security Training Academy for Court and Parliment Security Officers, training extensively in Advanced Krav Maga, VIP Protection, Security, Law Enforcement and Counter -Terrorism as taught to Special Forces Military Units, Security and Elite Law Enforcement officers. Professor Cale has received two different Diplomas from Ran Nakash, Danny Netzer and Itay Danenberg, making him one of only two Americans to receive such Diplomas at the time. Marty Cale has been training in Israeli Combat Shooting techniques and Krav Maga since 1999.
In July of 2013, Professor Marty Cale hosted Nakash, Netzer and Dannenberg in the US where they helped him teach a Defensive Tactics Course for Law Enforcement in Phoenix AZ, where he was presented a 3rd Diploma/Certificate in front of 300 people.
Professor Cale wrote the "Official Training Manual" for Krav Maga Tactical Training Options, a Defensive Tactics Program that has been approved in the U.S by most States and Government enties for Law Enforcement standards.
Marty's experience and methods of teaching cutting edge tactics takes his courses to a level rarely seen. His teaching abilities will impress even the most highly skilled as he has taught Military, Law Enforcement, Security Guards, Federal Agents and others Hand to Hand Combat and Firearm Instructors.
Professor Marty Cale has been training and studying the martial arts for 4 decades. He holds numerous Black Belts in various arts including a 10th Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate and a 7th Degree Black Belt in Combative JuJitsu. He has been a Certified Instructor in JKD (Bruce Lee’s Art) since 1995 and recently receiving a second Instructor Certification from Grandmaster Richard Bustillo, one of Bruce Lee’s original students. Mr. Cale has been certified as a Defensive Tactics Instructor for Law Enforcement by 3 different organizations.
Professor Marty Cale is President and Chief Director / Instructor of the Krav Maga Association and is in charge of setting up Krav Maga schools as well as Instructor Seminars for Civilians and Law Enforcement around the world. He along with his wife Jenny own and operate Krav Maga Headquarters in Fayetteville Arkansas where they teach Krav Maga.
Marty is dedicated to providing the highest quality professional training available whether for students, potiental Instructors, Instructors, law enforcement agencies or private citizens, large seminars or private lessons, basic or advanced, with an emphasis on friendly hands-on instruction that is simple, effective, affordable, reality-based, motivating, empowering, and most importantly, FUN!
